A killer sudoku is a nine-by-nine grid with no digits given at all: what you get instead is a set of dotted cages, each printed with the total of the digits inside it. The ordinary sudoku rules still hold, and one is added — no digit repeats inside a cage. There is exactly one solution, and reasoning always reaches it.
